Power Supply Units

PSVs are up-to-date power supply units with battery backup compliant with EN. Units provide all features required by EN 50131-6:2008, security grade 3 and additional features available only in higher grades.

Distinctive and unique ViP feature enables PSV units of equal voltage to be connected in parallel both (+) and (-) on one common power bus without a need of additional synchronization. Connected units will share the load on a bus.One power bus can contain unlimited number of PSV units of dierent power capacities – total current capacity of the power bus is equal to the sum of current capacities of all PSV units.

PSV units can be used to build distributed and redundant power systems. They can be also used to compensate volatage drops on a bus by placing power supply units in distant bus sections.

Power conversion is based on high-frequency SMPS regulator providing high conversion eciency. Low losses inside the unit prevent the batteries from overheating, which leads to shortening battery life time. Computerized battery recharging circuit works in constant current – limited voltage mode – the most advanced and the best mode to provide the longest possible battery life time. Battery recharging current is factory-programmable.

The power unit is equipped with a built-in diagnostic system detecting and signalling mains failure, various battery failures including end-of-life warning and output faults such as low voltage or broken fuse.


PSV power supplies are available in both 12V and 24V output voltage range.
